In spring of 2003 Henning von Berg again drove to the National Park Joshua Tree in California. This time he and his assistant were accompanied by the Belgian model Matt Colmar and the American model Ben Gunn. In the white light of the extreme desert sun, the team created about forty eye-catching photographs; five of those impressive pics are featured in the book.

The shot TRIBAL COLORS shows Matt Colmar, a gogo dancer, posing on a round (!) rock in the bright blue of the Californian sky. This is no photoshop retouching but a typical dream scene offered by such wild nature which HvB loves to use for his signature style.
